Tammy Higgins holds a BS in Public Accounting from Husson University. She worked as a staff accountant assisting with municipal audits. She opened a home office in 1998 preparing income taxes and bookkeeping for the local community. She is a licensed tax preparer. She worked for several years as Controller for a country club in Massachusetts. Her duties included working with the General Manager preparing and overseeing a $5 million budget, reconciling accounts, preparing and oversight of a $750k annual payroll on a weekly basis.
She began EMS billing in 2001 when Winterport Fire and Rescue, Inc. approached her to help them. She decided to help and discovered that EMS Billing was the direction she wanted the company to go in. T. G. Higgins Business Services, PA provided outstanding billing services and since they now have a consistent revenue stream they have been able to purchase a new ambulance and a new rescue vehicle. In her free time she spends time with family, reads and crochets. |

Philip Higgins has a BS in Business Administration from Husson University. He assisted with the startup of T. G. Higgins Business Services in 1998 and has worked in EMS Billing part time for 10 years. He worked at the United States Postal Service for many years as a Training Technician delivering classroom instruction to craft and management employees. Training courses he delivered included Hazwoper Awareness Level and First Responder Spill Teams; Medical Emergency Response Teams for First Aid, OSHA Compliance Training and other training as needed.
After a 20 year career with the Postal Service, Phil retired in 2010 and began working full time at T. G. Higgins Business Services, PA. He holds a dual function as training officer and EMS Billing agent. He is a volunteer for Winterport Fire and Rescue, Inc., as a fire fighter and currently a driver for the Winterport Ambulance Service. He spends his free time with his family and likes to read. |

Tom Skratt holds a BS in Forest Management. After his military tour in Vietnam, he was employed as a research technician by the US Forest Service's Northeast Forest Experiment Station research lab in Hamden, CT. Tom was transferred to Maine and became the field supervisor for the Penobscot Experimental Forest in Bradley, ME.
In 1979, he joined the Winterport Fire Department and in 1984, he joined the Winterport Ambulance Service as a driver. He is Safety Officer for the fire department and is also the Secretary/Treasurer for Winterport Fire and Rescue Association. Tom also served on the Winterport Town Council and Board of Assessors for many years. He retired from the US Forest Service in 2000, worked at Bangor International Airport until 2006 when he joined T. G. Higgins Business Services, PA. Because of his work with the fire and ambulance he understands the importance of the billing process to the services, which makes him a valuable employee. He spends his free time with his grandchildren. |

Darvin Randlett joined T. G. Higgins Business Services, PA in October 2010. She is a dedicated member of our team and handles many of the day to day operations. She is quick to learn and is adept at handling the fast pace of a busy office. In her free time she likes to read and makes doggie beds for dogs in need. |
